Police release CCTV following robbery at shopping centre in Shellharbour

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for information following an aggravated break and enter at a shopping centre in Shellharbour.

About 11.30pm (8 January 2017), five unknown persons approached locked glass doors of a shopping centre on Lake Entrance Road, Shellharbour, and smashed the glass using a small wrecking bar and a claw hammer.

The five people then entered the shopping centre and stole mobile phones, tablets and game consoles from a store in the centre.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command are investigating the incident and have released CCTV footage of four people who police believe can assist with the investigation.

The first person is seen wearing a red hoodie, black pants and grey joggers with a black back pack.

The second person is seen wearing a grey hoodie with a black t-shirt underneath.

The third person is seen wearing a grey hoodie and grey tracksuit pants.

The fourth person is seen wearing a blue/grey hoodie with blue jeans and white joggers.

The fifth person is seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, white joggers and was carrying a light blue back pack, wearing a white mask.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
