Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Norville

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 14-year-old boy died following a vehicle and e-scooter crash last week, Wednesday, April 3.

Investigations indicate around 2:30pm an e-scooter and Suzuki Baleno crashed on Maynard Street.

The rider of the scooter, a 14-year-old Avenell Heights boy, was airlifted to the Brisbane Childrens Hospital in a critical condition, where he has since passed away from his injuries.

The driver and single occupant of the Suzuki, a 21-year-old Svensson Heights man, was physically uninjured.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and are appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
