Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Southport 23 April

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Southport this evening, April 23.

Initial information indicates that around 5pm, a BMW motorbike was travelling westbound on Smith Street before it crashed into a guardrail.

The 28-year-old male rider from Gleneagle suffered critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
