Police Update 2: Suspicious Fire, Acacia Ridge

Acacia Ridge Detectives have charged a 33-year-old Logan Central man following investigations into a suspicious fire at a tobacconist in Acacia Ridge last month.

Officers conducted a search warrant at a Paterson Street, Woodridge address today, April 15, and allegedly located the man in possession of items used during the arson offence.

The 33-year-old Logan Central man has been charged with two counts of endangering particular property by fire and one count of arson.

He is due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on April 16.

This follows the charging of a woman on April 5.
