Pursuit - Mount Druitt, NSW

Police are investigating after a pursuit in Mount Druitt overnight, NSW Police say.

About 11.40pm today, police were patrolling in the Mount Druitt area when they sighted a Commodore towing a trailer driving in a dangerous manner.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and when it failed to do so, a pursuit ensued.

During the pursuit the Commodore has hit the front of an unmarked police car and driven off again on Carlisle Avenue, near Bidwill Square at Bidwill.

A short time later the car was dumped on Manifold Road at Blackett and the driver, and single occupant, left the location on foot.

Police conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the man.

Inquiries are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
