Search for vehicle following Pakenham incident

Police have released an image of a vehicle they are hoping to identify following an incident in Pakenham last month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a teenage girl was walking along King Street between 1 and 2pm on Friday, 23 June when a man in a vehicle slowed down near her.

The man then yelled out to her several times, making her feel uncomfortable.

She did not know the man and later reported the matter to police. Detectives from Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit have released an image of a vehicle they are hoping to identify following the incident.

The vehicle is described as a purple four-door Holden Crewman ute and police are appealing for anyone who recognises the car or has dashcam footage or similar to contact police.

Investigators are also appealing for the man driving the ute to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
