A NSW resident or visitor has become a millionaire overnight, winning a $1 million prize in the Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw on Wednesday, 8 May 2024. However, the lucky winner may still be unaware of their newfound wealth, as the winning ticket was not registered to a player card.
The mystery ticketholder from Armidale held one of two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4389, drawn Wednesday 8 May 2024 and looks forward to $1 million.
Lotto officials have no way of notifying the winner of their life-changing win and must wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning ticket was sold at JJ's Newsagency Plus, Shop 21 Armidale Plaza, 197 Beardy Street, Armidale.
JJ's Newsagency Plus owner Jess Fischer said they’re thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry to one of their customers.
“I was in disbelief at first! It’s wonderful to be able to spread the joy around the community during these hard times,” she said.
“The business has been part of our community for over thirty years and within five years of owning it, this will be our third major win!
