Serious Traffic Accident Spurs Police Response in Browns Plains

A three-year-old girl has been critically injured after a traffic incident at Browns Plains earlier today.

Around 8.40am, police were called after a child being pushed in stroller by a woman was stuck by a light truck while crossing on Browns Plains Road at the intersection with Webber Drive.

The toddler sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Queensland Childrens Hospital.

The 28-year-old woman from Browns Plains was not physically injured in the incident.

The 43-year-old male driver of the light truck who is from Redbank Plains was also not injured in the crash.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or dash cam of the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
