Police are investigating a serious traffic crash which occurred in Worongary overnight, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 11pm a car travelling along Harry Mills Drive has left the road and collided with a power pole.
The 56-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
