Shots Fired At Mount Pleasant

Police are investigating an incident where a shot was fired into a vehicle at Mount Pleasant on May 15.

Initial investigations indicate around 9.30pm, an 18-year-old Slade Point man was leaving an Arthur Street address in his Kia Rio when an unknown man approached him.

The man fired a single shot at the vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot.

The 18-year-old man was not physically injured.

No charges have been laid and investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Investigators believe there is no ongoing threat to the community. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
