Teen charged after drugs found in car, NSW

Police from Quakers Hill have arrested a teenager and seized drugs in Kings Langley this morning, NSW Police say.

It was 1:10am today tomorrow, that police stopped and spoke with four youths sitting in a Honda Civic parked in Edna Place, Kings Langley.

As police approached the vehicle they allege a 17-year-old youth, sitting in the front passenger seat, threw a bottle out the window.

The youth was arrested and when the car was searched, police seized several resealable bags containing what is believed to be MDMA powder, and a bag containing cannabis.

They also seized a mobile phone, more bags, scales and cash. These have been taken for forensic examination.

The youth was taken to Riverstone Police Station where he was charged with

• Possess a prohibited drug (two counts)

• Goods in custody suspected of being stolen, and

• Hinder police investigation.

He has been given conditional bail to appear in a children’s court on Thursday 15 September 2016.
