Theft of classic 1970s Holden Kingswood in Pakenham

Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a classic 1979 Holden Kingswood was stolen from a home in Pakenham last week.

Detectives believe offenders gained access to the home via a window on Friday 15 September about 5am.

The car, believed to be worth around $45,000, is a blue station wagon with Victorian registration plates ALO457.

Investigators have released images of the Kingswood in the hope someone knows of its whereabouts.

It is believed the Kingswood has been sighted by members of the public in the Drouin and Warragul areas.
