Police are investigating a theft at a Coburg North aged care facility on 20 July, Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe a male gained entry to the Sydney Road facility between 8 and 8.30pm and stole a laptop and a charity tin containing a quantity of cash.
Police have recently obtained and released an image and CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The offender is described as a Caucasian, about 164cms tall with a fair complexion. He was wearing thongs, denim shorts and a grey hoodie.
