After a social media user shared a photo of the back of his packet, it's caused many to see politics in a new light
The UK is a nation of chocolate fans - and we won't let anything get in the way of our love affair with our favourite treats, if this Facebook post is anything to go by.
Thousands of people have started panicking after seeing a photo of a bag of Milky Way Magic Stars on the social network.
The picture, posted by Sean Greaves, shows the product information on the back of the pack - and a rather worrying warning at the bottom...
"Product should not be sold outside of the EU."
He captioned it: "Why should we stay in the EU?"
As the UK leaving the European Union IS a possibility - to be decided later this month - thousands of social media users are panicking that they won't be able to get their hands on a bag of the delicious star-shaped chocs.
The post has been shared over 8,000 times, received over 57,000 Facebook Reactions and 13,000 comments since it was published yesterday.
Peter Campbell said: "That's my mind made up!"
Charlie Breton commented: "Gonna be honest once I saw this I had to reevaluate all of my principles."
Scott Lindsay tagged friend Benjamin Gregory in a comment to draw his attention to the travesty, to which he replied: "WE MUST STAY!" and Scott agreed: "Exactly! Life would be tragic without these."
The EU referendum , which takes place on June 23, will see us go to the polls to decide if the UK should remain inside the European Union or if we should leave it.
Although we haven't as yet found evidence that we wouldn't be able to buy Magic Stars if the UK left the EU, Mirror Onlline has contacted Mars for comment on the issue and had not yet heard back at the time of publication.
