Townhouse Destroyed By Fire At Doonside

Specialist investigators are waiting to examine a home which has been destroyed by fire at Doonside this morning.

Emergency services were called to Belus Way about 7am (Wednesday 24 April 2024), and found the two-storey townhouse well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, containing major damage to the one townhouse.

Fire fighters are currently checking the building for structural soundness before any forensic examination can begin; consequently, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command are on scene and working to establish if there was anyone in the home at the time.
