Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Traralgon East, Victoria Police say.
It is believed a car was travelling on Traralgon – Maffra Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree about 11.50pm.
The male driver and single occupant of the vehicle, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
