Two arrested over credit card fraud , SA

Two Paralowie men will face court after they were arrested over several counts of purchasing goods using stolen credit cards details, according to SA Police.

As a result of an ongoing investigation into credit card frauds being committed upon vendors throughout the metropolitan area, members of Major Fraud Investigation Section today conducted searches of houses at Paralowie and West Croydon.

The searches resulted in the seizure of designer clothing, shoes and jewellery, all suspected to have been obtained fraudulently.

Two men aged 23 and 18-years-old man both from Paralowie were arrested and charged with five and three counts of aggravated deception respectively, attempted aggravated deception and unlawful possession.

The police investigation is continuing and it's anticipated that further arrests will be made in relation to these matters.

Both men have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 3 November.
