Two Arrested Regarding Damage In Bendigo Area

Bendigo police have arrested a man and woman after damage was caused at multiple locations around Bendigo this month.

Investigators allege the duo used a liquid to cause damage to multiple statues and paintings, worth around $100,000 in Bridge Street on 5 May as well as damage at a White Hills cemetery and a temple in Myers Flat.

Police executed a search warrant at an address in Seabrook this morning about 10am.

A 43-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman from Seabrook were arrested and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
