Two men wanted in relation to a robbery, SA

Police are investigating a robbery at a West Beach service station overnight, according to SA Police.

Just before 1:30am police were called to a service station on Military Road after reports two men wearing balaclavas entered the business and threatened the staff member.

One of the men armed with a baseball bat assaulted the console operator before the men ran off after stealing money and cigarettes.

The console operator was treated by ambulance officers for minor injuries.

Police searched the area with the assistance of a police dog but were unable to locate the offenders.

One of the suspects is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 167cm tall, slim build wearing a grey zip-up jacket and jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 188cm and wearing black clothing.

Detective from Western Adelaide CIB will be investigating the incident today.
