UPDATE – Acts intended to cause GBH charge, Mermaid Waters

Detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch and Taskforce Maxima have charged two more men over an incident during which a 28-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at a Mermaid Waters residence in late August 2017, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged at around 1.15am on August 28, an altercation occurred between two men at a Tequila Court address and a man sustained several serious wounds to his arms and torso.

A 28-year-old man from Robina and a 35-year-old man from Benowa have been charged with aggravated burglary and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

Both men are due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.

Police will allege that both men have links to the Lone Wolves Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
