Vision released in Salisbury shooting inquiry, SA

Police today released CCTV vision connected with a shooting at Salisbury in February in a bid to identify the vehicle or occupants, according to SA Police.

About 1.30pm on 12 February, a 31-year-old man was at his home on Winzor Street when an unknown man knocked on the front door.

When the victim opened the door, the visitor produced a shotgun and discharged a single round from very close range.

The victim, who is assisting police, has required several surgeries after sustaining a significant leg injury in the shooting.

The gunman was last seen running east towards Eliza Street.

During the course of the investigation by Elizabeth Local Service Area police CCTV has been located, which shows a vehicle travelling south on Eliza Street which is of interest to investigators.

The gunman, who was about 170cm tall, was wearing a full face covering which was brown in colour, dark brown coloured pants, a long sleeve top and gloves.
