Narre Warren police have turned up a cache of prohibited weapons after executing a warrant at Cranbourne yesterday evening, Victoria Police say.
After being made aware of a person allegedly selling weapons on Facebook police executed a warrant at a residential home on Latrobe Street at 6.30pm.
As a result of the warrant police seized 29 prohibited and controlled weapons which included flick knives, swords, machetes and hunting knives.
A 39-year-old Cranbourne man is expected to be charged on summons with possessing prohibited and controlled weapons and dealing in prohibited and controlled weapons.
