Woman indecently assaulted during break and enter in Dubbo

A woman has been indecently assaulted after a man broke into her house at Dubbo during the early hours of this morning, NSW Police say.

About 3.20am today, a 22-year-old woman was asleep in her Baird Drive home when she was awoken by the sound of her front door being opened.

The woman locked the open door, and a short time later was confronted by a man who appears to have entered through the bedroom window.

The man has been described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance with a thin build. He was wearing shorts, white joggers and no shirt. He has a white shirt covering his face.

Investigations are continuing.
