Discover Art Of Picasso With Author Sue Matynia

Kurri Kurri Library is looking forward to hosting local Author, Sue Matynia, from 6 to 7pm on Tuesday 14 May as she gives an insightful talk on her book,The Art of Picasso.

The Art of Picassois a unique blend of wellness, self-help, and entertainment that empowers young people to navigate life's challenges.

Loosely based on true stories, the book features relatable animal characters that represent the four main human personality types. Through their journey, readers learn practical coping mechanisms for issues like moving, blended families, separation, bullying and finding one's place in the world.

Sue Matynia is a passionate writer and community advocate who lives in the Hunter Valley.

As a seasoned family/youth/community worker, Sue drew inspiration from her experiences working with young people facing suicide. Sue believes that by providing a safe space for them to share their struggles, she can empower them to seek help and prevent unnecessary tragedies.

Library Services Co-ordinator, Rose-marie Walters is encouraging locals to come along to this free and engaging author talk event.

"The Art of Picasso is a valuable resource for both young people, and the adults who are there to support them," Rose-marie said.

"Sue's engaging storytelling and practical advice make the book an essential read for anyone seeking to improve their communication and mental well-being."
