As our weather and climate becomes more unpredictable and extreme, our homes can be vulnerable. It's important to keep our home and contents insurance policies up-to-date and relevant.
In July and August, we are holding home insurance workshop with Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC), a multidisciplinary legal service that works to prevent problems and support community resilience.
The workshops will cover important topics including:
- whether your insurance covers the emergencies that may happen to you
- common exclusions
- potential legal issues after a disaster, and how to prevent or prepare for those.
