Lotterywest's Boorloo Heritage Festival Attracts Record April Crowds

The City of Perth recorded one of its biggest Aprils on record according to the latest data.

The total spend for April was $317 million, up 18.6 per cent on April 2023 ($267 million), according to Spendmapp. It was also the biggest April spend since Spendmapp data started in 2019.

The City-led Boorloo Heritage Festival contributed to this record with more than 90,000 people attending 105 Lotterywest Boorloo Heritage Festival events across the month.

ANZAC Day also saw the City form the heartbeat of commemorations, with big crowds marking their respects at the various City events across the day, including taking advantage of extended hours at Government House and the new Family and Mateship event at Langley Park and extended hours at Government House.
