Appeal for help to find child missing at Oatley, NSW

A search is underway for a child missing at Oatley, NSW Police say.

The 10-year-old boy was at Oatley Avenue shops with his carer about 7.15pm (Sunday 22 April 2018), when he ran off.

The child was last seen running near the railway station near Mulga Parade and Oatley Avenue.

Police have serious concerns for the child’s welfare as he has a medical condition, is non-verbal and is unlikely to respond.

The boy is described as being of Caucasian appearance with an olive complexion, dark hair and dark eyes. He is 155cm tall and a thin build and was wearing an orange t-shirt and black shorts but no shoes.

Officers from St George Police Area Command – assisted by the Dog Unit and Polair – are searching surrounding streets and are appealing for anyone with information about the child to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
