Appeal for witnesses following Camberwell collision

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle in Camberwell last month, Victoria Police say.

It is alleged a 55-year-old woman was crossing Highfield Road when she was hit by a silver sedan turning right from Toorak Road about 10.35am on 10 February.

The pedestrian was conveyed to hospital with serious injuries.

She has since been released and will receive ongoing treatment.

The driver, a 69-year-old Glen Iris woman, stopped and assisted at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or any erratic driving in the area prior to the collision is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
