Fatal crash Enfield, South Australia

Major Crash are investigating a crash at Enfield this morning which resulted in a man later dying at Ingle Farm.

About 2am Wednesday 10 March emergency services were called to Whittington Street after a motorcycle that had been travelling east crashed on the street. Witnesses say they then saw a car stop and load the rider into the car before driving away. Police located the motorbike at the scene, but no rider.

A short time later, about 2.40am, emergency services were called to Mark Court in Ingle Farm after reports a motorcycle rider was unconscious in the street. Paramedics worked on the rider, but sadly the 45-year-old man died at the scene.

Major Crash officers are investigating the circumstances that lead to the crash and the death of the man. Lives lost on SA roads is now 22, compared to 18 at the same time last year.
