Arson Squad investigators are seeking information relating to a fire at a residence on William Street in Beckenham on Tuesday, 29 January 2019.
Around 11.50pm, unknown persons set fire to a large palm tree at the front of the home. The fire spread to other trees and caused minor damage to the carport and a vehicle parked in the carport.
The fire caused an estimated $10,000 damage.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who has any dash cam footage of the area around the time of the fire. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
