Police are appealing for assistance from the public to find a teenage girl who went missing from her home in Sydney’s north-west yesterday
Stella Whittaker, aged 13, was last seen around 11am (Tuesday 17 September 2019), at her home in Carlingford.
Police, and Stella’s family, hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150cm-160cm tall, with a thin build and long brown hair.
When she was last seen, Stella was wearing charcoal-grey pants, a red midriff top with black stripes down either side, and white Nike TNs (sports shoes). She usually wears her hair up in a bun, with hoop earrings and has her upper left ear pierced.
Officers from the Ryde Police Area Command have been told Stella may appear older than her 13 years, and might be travelling to Kings Cross.
Anyone with information about Stella’s whereabouts, or may have seen her since she left home yesterday, is urged to call Ryde Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
