Police appeal to locate man missing from Chifley 7 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s east.

Lee Welch, aged 50, was last seen in Chifley yesterday (Monday 6 February 2023) afternoon.

When he was unable to be contacted by family, officers attached Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Lee is described as Caucasian appearance, about 190cm tall, large build, fair complexion, unshaven, blue eyes and brown hair.

It is not known what Lee maybe wearing.

He is believed to be driving a 2019, white Mazda 3 sedan with NSW registration EUB21W.

Inquiries have established that he may have been in the Kings Cross area about 3pm today (Tuesday 7 February 2023).
