Police investigate theft of motorbike at Southbank

Melbourne Tasking Unit detectives are investigating following the theft of a motorbike from a private car park in Southbank in January, Victoria Police say.

The incident occurred on Thursday 26 January when an unknown man was seen loitering around the Sturt Street car park just before 5pm.

The man walked around in the area for approximately 40 minutes before he wheeled a red and black Honda motorcycle, with NSW registration MJA 10, out of the car park and down the street.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with any information about the theft is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
