Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man who went missing from the Maitland area today.
Michael McGarity, aged 61, was last seen leaving Maitland Hospital about 1.30am today (Monday 24 June 2019).
He has walked out of the hospital and was seen heading towards Telarah.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his mental state.
He is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, about 190cm tall with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his left lower arm ‘TY’.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and white T-shirt with grey jeans and navy-blue shoes.
