Police seek info to locate mother and newborn child in Randwick

Police have appealed for public assistance to locate a woman and her two day old baby after they unexpectedly left hospital at Randwick yesterday, NSW Police say.

Yhuwadee GAEWVANNA, aged 30, was last seen at the hospital in Randwick about 4.30pm on Friday 15 December 2017.

Her disappearance was subsequently reported to police at Eastern Beaches Local Area Command who commenced a search but have not been able to locate the woman or child.

Medical staff and police have serious concerns for her welfare and for her new born son.

She is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 160 cm tall with a slim build and black hair.

She was last seen wearing pink and black pyjamas with white sleeves and no shoes. The baby was wrapped in a white hospital blanket.

It is possible that Yhuwadee may be with friends but she is also known to frequent the Ultimo area.
