Read and win prizes this summer

Calling all bookworms or those just looking to escape in the world of books this summer - Wodonga Library has a challenge for you.

The annual Summer Reading Club is here so make sure to register at Wodonga Library to receive a starter pack where you can record each book you read on your reading log.

Return your log back to the library to go in the draw for some great prizes.

Wodonga Library team leader Michelle Fracaro said stories are everywhere waiting to be discovered during this year's Summer Reading Club.

"We invite children to explore the imaginary while promoting the joy of stories as they read their way through the summer," she said.

"Come visit us at the library for your child's starter pack and see how many books you can read between December 2 and January 23."

Wodonga Library has organised a host of events during the challenge, with the first one being a stop motion workshop on Tuesday, January 7 from 10.30am and 1pm.

Learn how to make your own stop motion film where participants will create their own story using technology and resources available at the library.
