Inquiries are continuing after a truck has rolled and blocked the Hume Highway near Yass overnight, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Yass, about 11.10pm (Thursday 21 December 2017).
The southbound B-Double landed on its side and has blocked both lanes.
The truck driver, a 50-year-old man, was trapped for a short time.
He was extricated and airlifted to Canberra Hospital with multiple injuries, where he remains in a serious condition.
Traffic diversions are in place with a salvage operation underway to clear the roadway.
