A woman has been charged after allegedly drink-driving with three children under six in the vehicle earlier this week, NSW Police say.
About 5.30pm on Wednesday 28 November 2018, police from Manning/Great Lakes Police District received multiple calls in relation to a Toyota Tarago allegedly driving dangerously.
Officers patrolled the area in an attempt to locate the vehicle.
About 5.50pm, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway, Boolambayte, about 1km north of the Lakes Way intersection, after reports a Toyota Tarago and a B-double truck collided.
Police spoke with the driver of the Toyota, a 42-year-old woman, who allegedly tested positive to a roadside breath test.
A four-year-old girl and two boys, aged two and six, who were passengers in the vehicle, were uninjured.
She was arrested and taken to Bulahdelah Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis and returned an alleged reading of 0.241.
The woman was issued a Court Attendance Notice for the offence of high range PCA.
She is due to appear at Forster Local Court on Wednesday 19 December 2018.
Police have notified FACS.
