Woman dies after single-vehicle crash near Parkes, NSW

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West last night.

Just before 7.30pm (Wednesday 23 January 2019), emergency services were called to Henry Parkes Way, about 30km west of Parkes, after a Toyota Corolla left the road and hit a tree.

Officers from Central West Police District attended and located the driver and sole occupant, a 47-year-old woman, trapped in the vehicle.

The woman was extricated, however, she was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam vision to come forward.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
