Fatal Traffic Accident in Moolboolaman, Queensland: Police Respond

The Wide Bay Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Moolboolaman today, May 15.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 7.40am, a Red Holden Commodore was travelling east along Gin Gin Mount Perry Road and a white Isuzu D-Max utility was travelling in the opposite direction before they crashed.

The driver of the Commodore, a 32-year-old Bundaberg woman, was declared deceased at the scene.

The single passenger of the Commodore, a 9-year-old girl, was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The utility driver, a 24-year-old Bundaberg man, was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
