Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man At Oxley 5 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's New England region.

Simon Sutherland, aged 42, last seen in Curlewis – about 20km south of Gunnedah - at 6pm on Monday (29 April 2024).

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified yesterday (4 March 2024) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

There are serious concerns for her welfare.

Simon is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 175cm, solid build, black hair, black beard and has tribal tattoos on his face as well as the number 2381 above his right eye.

It is not known what he maybe wearing.

Inquiries have established that he may have been in the Newcastle area in the evening of Friday afternoon (3 May 2024).

Simon is believed to be travelling in a 2012 white Holden Captiva bearing NSW registration DE79SK.

He is known to frequent the Curlewis, Newcastle, Gosford, Camden and may also travel to Melbourne in Victoria.
