Police Seek Witnesses To Series Of Burglaries

Cobram Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following a series of burglaries in Cobram and Numurkah over the weekend.

Investigators have been told offender/s have attended a business premises between 10.30pm Saturday 4 May and 8am on Sunday 5 May on Cobram-Koonoomoo Road, Cobram.

It is believed that after gaining entry inside the premises, the offenders' have stolen cash and cut the CCTV security cabling.

A white Toyota Camry was seen casing another business premises on Station Street, Cobram on Sunday 5 May about 2.20am.

A male has jemmied open a door stealing a step ladder.

Investigators believe that offender/s gained entry to a sporting club on Tunnock Road, Nuurkah on Sunday 5 April about 5am.

Once inside the offenders' have stolen cash and knocked down a camera.

The three incidents are believed to be linked.
