Robbery With Violence, Mount Ommaney

Police are investigating after a ride share driver was assaulted and his vehicle stolen at Mount Ommaney in the early hours of this morning.

Around 2.25am police were called to Arrabri Avenue after passengers travelling in a ride share vehicle threatened the 33-year-old male driver and demanded property and the car.

The driver was assaulted to the back of the head while he was driving.

He pulled over and gave the men some of his personal items and his white 2020 Toyota Camry with Queensland registration 033 GY4.

Police are appealing for any information about the incident or dashcam or CCTV in the Arrabri Avenue area around the time of the robbery.
