Fire bombs have been thrown at a home in south west Sydney overnight.

Shortly after 10.30pm yesterday (Saturday 31 January 2026), emergency services responded to reports that glass fire bombs had been thrown at a home on Gallipoli Street, Condell Park.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have been informed that two glass bottles containing possibly petrol were thrown at the house, causing damage to a window.

Two shattered on impact with the home but failed to ignite. A third one located in a bag at the front of the premises and has been seized for forensic examination.

There were no reports of any other structural damage to the house or injuries to any person.

The incident is believed to be targeted.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist police.

Immediately after the incident a scooter with a rider was seen riding north along Gallipoli Street.
