A fire bomb has been thrown at a home in south west Sydney.
About 1am today (Monday 2 February 2026), emergency services responded to reports that a glass fire bomb had been thrown at a home on Macquarie Street, Greenacre, igniting a fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire which was confined to the front of the home causing only minor damage.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
A fuel jerry was located at the front of the premises which has been seized for forensic examination.
The home is presently un-occupied.
There were no reports of any person being injured.
