2017 Gold Coast Bulletin Fun Run – road closures

Gold Coast Police would like to remind motorists of upcoming road closures for the Gold Coast Bulletin Fun Run., Queensland Police say

The Fun Run will be conducted on Sunday 23 April 2017 with over 4,000 competitors expected to participate in this year’s event.

The event begins in Stadium Drive, Robina and finishes inside Cbus Super Stadium.

Police have been working with the City of Gold Coast and the Event Crew to ensure the fun run is conducted safely and with minimum disruption to traffic.

Drivers are urged to avoid traveling anywhere along the route during the event due to diversions that will be in place.

"A number of local officers will be policing the event accompanied by traffic controllers to ensure public safety and to minimise disruption to local residents and businesses as much as possible during the event," Major Events Senior Sergeant Des Hearn said.

Motorists can expect delays and traffic congestion at the following road closures on

Sunday 23 April 2017 from 5.00am to 11.00am:

Road closures will occur on the following roads:

•Stadium Drive, Robina
•Cheltenham Drive between Laver Drive and Robina Parkway (Eastbound lanes only)
•Robina Parkway from Gooding Drive to Cheltenham Drive (Northbound lanes only)
