Broken Hill City Council have a range of facilities and services that may be closed or operating over alternate hours over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Please find full list of trading hours and operational information below.
2025/2026 Christmas and New Year operating hours
Council's Administrative Centre and Warnock Street Depot will be closed from end of business on Tuesday, 23 December 2025 and re-open Monday, 12 January 2026.
Waste Collection Services will not be affected, with normal kerbside and green waste collections commencing from 6am.
Our online services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
