The 2026-27 Budget has passed the Tasmanian Parliament.
This Budget delivers a strong economy and a caring community.
It ensures our economy continues to be strong, resilient and well positioned into the future.
It returns to a stronger fiscal position, with an operational balance forecast in two years, and a fiscal balance in four.
We are doing this without increasing taxes, mindful of the cost of living pressures, and maintaining those services on which Tasmanians rely.
The passage of the Budget will enable us to deliver our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future.
