The Crisafulli Government is celebrating the Australian Summer of Tennis and cementing Queensland as the events capital of the nation, with an impressive all-star line-up of some of the best players on the planet revealed for the Brisbane International.
From Grand Slam winners, to rising stars and reigning champions returning to defend their title, the Sunshine State will play host to tennis talent from around the globe.
It's just one of the ways the Crisafulli Government is delivering a better lifestyle through a stronger economy and cementing Queensland as the home of Australian sport, with the Brisbane international held from 4-11 January 2026.
Supported by the Crisafulli Government through Tourism and Events Queensland, the tournament takes tennis fans to the centre of the action with what's expected to be a sold-out Pat Rafter Arena.

Minister for the Environment and Tourism Andrew Powell said the Brisbane International cemented Queensland's budding reputation as the events capital of the nation.
"The Brisbane International is a key tourism driver showcasing Queensland on the world stage," Minister Powell said.
"The calibre of athletes announced today points towards a highly competitive tournament, but the adrenaline and excitement doesn't end when they step off the court.
"We estimate around 5,600 fans will be travelling from out of Queensland who will have the opportunity to explore our State, dine in our restaurants and stay in our world-class accommodation, spreading the benefits across our tourism industry."
Minister for Sport Tim Mander said the Brisbane International further strengthened the state's elite summer of sport.
"The Brisbane International is always a great occasion where everyone can get together and watch the world's best players battle it out in the home of Australian sport," Minister Mander said.
"Pat Rafter Arena is going to play a huge role in the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and events like these give the rest of the world a taste of what to expect when the greatest show on earth comes to Queensland.
"We have an exciting field of players that are competing in the tournament this year, and their performances will inspire the next generation to play sport and emulate their sporting heroes."
Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the 2026 Brisbane International would deliver another standout summer of tennis.
"Brisbane loves its sport and we're proud to welcome such exceptional talent to our courts," Cr Schrinner said.
"With seven of the world's top ten women competing and the Australian Wheelchair International debuting, fans can expect another thrilling event.
"Off the court, the Brisbane International continues to boost our visitor economy, filling our venues and showcase Brisbane to the world as Australia's lifestyle capital."
Brisbane International Tournament Director Cameron Pearson said the Brisbane International was poised to kickstart the Australian Summer of Tennis in dramatic fashion.
"I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Brisbane International than with an incredible line-up of players and thrilling action on-court," Mr Pearson said.
"Spectators will be treated to world-class tennis featuring some of the most exciting players from the WTA and ATP Tours, including our local stars.
"I'm also pleased to announce that this year's tournament will feature the ITF 500 Australian Wheelchair International – featuring eight of the world's best men's wheelchair tennis players."
