A new expert advisory panel will develop a MRFF Primary Health Research Plan in 2023. The first research projects will be funded from July 2024. Funding will target 3 areas:
- identifying and evaluating models of primary care provided by GPs and other health professionals
- applying research findings in primary care settings
- better use of data and digital technology to evaluate models of primary care and support health system planning.
